I must also thank you for introducing me to The Miserable Rich; my spotify has been getting very friendly with them lately. I confess myself a bit gutted that I have another gig to go to the night they're playing in Manchester (long story; my boyfriend and I are seeing the same band twice in two days because he's obsessed with them). Fingers crossed I get the chance to catch them again!
I hope Uni is going well for you. I was a slow starter socially speaking at Uni, but it all turned out in the end for me. I just had to hunt down the other people sat in their dorm rooms watching anime or playing RPGs. The trick is to look for the people you have things in common with, not the people you think you should make friends with or it's convenient to hang out with.
